The Story
Kosse, Texas is a little town with a big heart, the birthplace of the "King of Western Swing," Bob Wills, and home to an abandoned Sinclair Gas Station.

Due to some business dealings in 1969, Sinclair stations west of the Mississippi River rebranded as ARCO and were later closed in the 1980s when ARCO pulled out of the gas station business in Texas. As a result, it hasn't been until recently that Sinclair branded stations have started making a comeback in Texas.
