The Story

Edson's Kerrcrafters, in Kerrville, Texas, was established in 1938 and handcrafted furniture and upholstery for 75 years before closing at the end of 2013.

The Edson family escaped the dust bowl and arrived in Kerrville with everything they owned just six weeks before opening their family business.

Through the years, Edson's Kerrcrafters had many notable customers. One such customer was James Avery, and for a while, Edson's built all their jewelry display cases and sales counters.

The pictured building was renovated in 2018 to become home to the East End Market.
