Welcome to Center Point, Texas

Originally Named Zanzenberg.

Center Point, Texas is located in Kerr County midway between Comfort and Kerrville, Texas, on the Guadalupe River. Established in 1859, Center Point has since voted to incorporate twice and has twice voted to dissolve its incorporation within less than two years of being incorporated. That leaves Center Point as one of the largest unincorporated communities in Texas, with a population of around 4,200.
